A business credit dashboard can show a record without explaining who supplied it or whether a lender will use it. Before paying for monitoring, name the file, the reporting party and the task you need to complete. Write the task as a specific deliverable: inspect a named entry, receive a useful alert or report an actual payment. A score on a screen does not answer all three.
Array announced on October 15, 2026 that it had acquired Hansa, adding embedded business credit tools and commercial data furnishing to its platform. This is a vendor acquisition statement, rechecked on November 2. It does not confirm the price, availability or terms of a particular partner's customer service.
Separate monitoring from furnishing
Monitoring means inspecting information presented to the business. Furnishing means submitting information about a credit relationship. Put those functions in separate rows of your evidence pack. A provider may offer both, while your account includes only one. Ask which legal business entity each function concerns.
Hansa's current site distinguishes its contribution network from its embedded tools. It names Equifax, Experian, Dun & Bradstreet and SBFE for contributions, while its tools footnote identifies certain Equifax and Dun & Bradstreet data. These are vendor descriptions of different scopes, not a promise that one dashboard displays every commercial file.
That distinction changes the purchase question. If you need to check a supplier's report entry, confirm that the entry and bureau are actually included. If you want your own lending activity reported, ask who has authority to furnish it. Do not assume that buying monitoring creates a tradeline or validates an existing one.
Build a file-to-record map
Start with four columns: business identity, underlying obligation, reporting party and displayed record. Use the legal name and identifiers requested through the provider's secure channel. Keep a trading name separate where it differs. A neat dashboard cannot resolve an identity mismatch that nobody has checked.
For each obligation, compare the original agreement, invoices, payment dates and ledger balance. Record the date of the screen you are viewing. If an amount looks wrong, distinguish the balance date from the date you paid. Ask how updates reach the named bureau instead of assuming that a recent bank debit has already changed the displayed file.
This is an original record-checking method, not a description of Array's internal model. It can be completed in a private spreadsheet or on paper. COD does not need your business documents, account credentials or reporting identifiers to explain the steps.
Price the actual monitoring task
Request the subscription price, setup charges, renewal date, included users and cancellation conditions. Ask whether a report refresh costs extra and what remains accessible after cancellation. We did not establish public partner-specific pricing from the retrieved pages, so there is no verified price comparison or COD integration offer here.
Use an invented planning example. A service costing $20 each month would require $240 over twelve months before any additional charges. If the only confirmed need is one report, compare the actual one-off option and the work needed to obtain it. The $20 is a synthetic input, not an Array or Hansa price.
A subscription can still be useful when it supplies a needed alert or repeated check. Write down who will receive the alert and what they will do. An unused notification feed creates a recurring bill without a documented operating response. Review that response before renewing.
Keep errors and offers in separate workflows
Hansa provides a dispute form for payment data it reported. The form asks for the business, lender and description of the apparent error. Its stated scope is a reported payment; it is not evidence that Hansa can correct every item in every bureau's commercial file.
Identify the source of the disputed entry before choosing a route. Describe one amount, date or identity issue and preserve the supporting record. Ask for a reference and the next response step. Keep the response beside the original screen so a later refresh can be checked against the same issue.
Array's acquisition announcement also identifies retargeting with offers as a product capability. That commercial function matters when interpreting a dashboard recommendation. A new offer beside a file is not the resolution of an error, and its presence does not establish that the business qualifies.
If finance is offered, open a separate comparison record for usable proceeds, charges, collection dates and guarantees. Do not treat monitoring enrollment as consent to accept a loan. Our business bank-data guide helps distinguish records from underwriting assumptions.
Set a stop condition before adding a service
Pause if the provider cannot name the included bureau data, explain who supplied an entry or give the terms of the service you would buy. Ask about obtaining the relevant commercial record directly, subject to its actual access and charges. Existing bookkeeping may answer an invoice question without another subscription.
Keep personal and business questions distinct. A commercial dashboard does not establish what appears on an owner's consumer report or what a personal guarantee requires. The business loan rejection guide covers checking stated reasons before another application. For the funding structure itself, compare the loan, overdraft and invoice-finance decision method, noting its separate UK scope.
Use one record to test the service
Build a private test sheet before the subscription renews. Put the actual invoice reference in the first row, the amount and payment date in the second, and the displayed bureau balance and date in the third. Give the final row to the unanswered question. This keeps a later alert attached to the same obligation instead of creating a new investigation each time the screen changes.
Assign an owner and a review date. The owner should record whether the service identified the relevant file, whether the reporting party explained an apparent mismatch, and whether the agreed task was completed. A changed score alone is not a completed task. If the service does not include the record needed, ask about a direct-access alternative before paying for another period.
Write the renewal decision as retain, ask or cancel under the actual terms. Beside it, name the task completed during the paid period and the next task that requires continued access. If the only unfinished item is a dispute, ask whether you can still receive its response after cancellation. Keep that answer with the price and notice requirements. This tests the service against work the business needs, rather than a hoped-for score change.
Finish with one written request: which file and entry will this service let the business inspect, who can correct it, and what will the service cost? Keep the answer beside the actual terms before comparing the borrowing decision guides.
